Mycetoma of the Breast: A Case Report

Abstract: Mycetoma is a chronic suppurative infection affecting skin, subcutaneous tissue, and bones which common in tropical subtropical regions. The manifestations of mycetoma are painless mass, multiple sinuses purulent or seropurulent discharge that may contain grains. We reported case 39-year-old female with complaint skin mass her left breast for about year. clinical diagnosis was tumour suspicion malignancy. A histopathological examination the biopsy performed showed foci granulomas consisting inflammatory cells, foamy macrophages, many multinucleated cells. In several granulomas, there were eosinophilic masses hypha peripheral arranged radially. conclusion, based on histopahological examinations this breast.
